A. Jane Voelker

A. Jane Voelker, 89, of Waterloo, died on Monday, February 1, 2010 in Waterloo. She was born May 26, 1920,  at Lisbon, Iowa, the daughter of John C. and Oma C. (Cousins) Miller . She graduated from Stanwood High School, Stanwood, Iowa. Jane married C. E. Voelker on June 14, 1937 and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1962.  Jane enjoyed her family, her neighbors, and the fantastic  Red Hat Ladies, they were very dear to her.

She is survived by one son, Doug (Joanne Johnson) Voelker, of Evansdale and one daughter, Julie (Patrick) Nuemiller, of Baudett, MN; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Artell Voelker of Cedar Rapids, Nadine Miller of Norway, Iowa, Dorothy Heren of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, and many nephews and nieces.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Geneva Miller, one brother, Verne Miller and one grand daughter, Pennie Neumiller.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
